Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Birthday Celebrations
Organised by Sri Sathya Sai Organisation Singapore
The much awaited 90th Birthday Celebrations of our beloved Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba falls on Monday 23rd November 2015. We are joining the national celebrations at the Singapore Foochow Association.
A lot of help is needed to ensure that the celebrations go on smoothly.
Do take note of the following times on 23rd November when many volunteers are required:
1) Setting up of the venue: starts from 0000hrs (12midnight) in the MORNING of Monday 23rd November. We need a lot of help at this time as we will be setting up for the morning prayers and bhajan which will start at 6am. As it is a working day, do take leave if you can as many hands are needed here.
2) Senior Citizens’ Lunch: 10.30am to 2.00pm on 23rd November. Help will be needed to welcome the senior citizens, serve them lunch and interact with them. All sevadals to be attired in WHITE.
3) Evening Programme and Clearing Up: If you wish to stay on after the Lunch seva, there will be ongoing programmes like bhajan, SSE programme and cultural items. If not, do come back for the evening Combined Bhajan and Cake Cutting at 7pm. After enjoying the beautiful bhajan and birthday wishes for Swami, a lot of help is needed to CLEAR and CLEAN THE VENUE AFTER 9.00pm. (Dinner will be provided for volunteers staying back to help)
Attached is a copy of the programme. We look forward to celebrating our dear Lord’s advent on earth together on Monday 23rd November, so please put time aside for this service to our Lord.
We encourage all to take leave from work form this special occasion.
