Om Bhur Bhuvaḥ Swaḥ
Bhargo Devasya Dhīmahi
Dhiyo Yonaḥ Prachodayāt
General meaning: We meditate on that most adored Supreme Lord, the creator, whose effulgence (divine light) illumines all realms (physical, mental and spiritual). May this divine light illumine our intellect.
As a lead up the Gayathri Mahayagna, a shorter Gayathri chanting session will be held on Thursday, 20th April at the Sri Sivan Temple from 7.30pm followed by bhajans. Dinner will be served. All are invited to participate in this chanting. For more information, kindly contact Sis Vasantha.
